In Loving Memory
I meant to blog about George Carlin before now, but I was having Internet troubles. Now that I’m back online, I decided to tell my Carlin tale.
In the early 1970s (I can’t recall the exact year), I went to the Trubadour in L.A. with my mom, step dad and sister, Elaine. I was in junior high, and Elaine was in high school.
We went there to see Johnny Rivers. Remember him? He sang Secret Agent Man, among other hits. The Trubadour was a small, smoky club and we were seated at a table near the front. The opening act was a comedian named George Carlin. At the time, none of us had ever heard of him. He walked out on stage and we thought, ‘Who is this schelpy guy?’ He didn’t impress us. Until he opened his mouth.
Then…magic!
He was the funniest, most oddly charming man. We absolutely loved him! He had the entire club in stitches. From that moment on, George was a star to me and my family.

One More Awesome Review!
Errant Dreams gave the ART OF DESIRE an amazing review! I'm having trouble with my link feature today, so I'll post the review instead of the link.
Here it is:
Museum curator Mandy Cooper is obsessed with an old tale—that of nineteenth century bohemian artist Catherine Burke, and her rumored lover, Atacar, a Native American warrior. She’s the caretaker of Catherine’s greatest work, a portrait of Atacar that hangs in the museum she works at. What she really wants to find, however, is Catherine’s rumored journal.
Mandy’s also having an affair with Jared Cabrillo, Atacar’s great-great-nephew and a well-known playboy into serial monogamy. Mandy’s a good girl raised with proper manners, but Jared awakens the bad girl inside of her. She knows she should just enjoy their fling while it lasts as he’ll inevitably move on, but it’s hard not to get attached to someone who seems to so easily read her soul—and her desires.
Jared, however, is keeping a secret. He has Catherine’s journal, and he’s every bit as obsessed with its contents as Mandy is. He even finds himself mimicking Atacar’s courtship of Catherine in his relationship with Mandy. After a while, however, he finds it hard to separate his own feelings from Atacar’s—and he’s desperately unwilling to fall in love with anyone.
Cherie Feather’s The Art of Desire is a highly unusual tale of seduction, desire, and love. It moves back and forth between passages from Catherine’s journal and Mandy & Jared’s lives. Part of what makes it so incredibly different is its languid, mesmerizing pace.
Mandy & Jared are fantastic characters, neither as simple as their public images suggest. They’re fresh and appealing, highly erotic, with plenty of explosive chemistry. Jared is Mandy’s addiction, and Mandy is Jared’s obsession. He drives her to try ever wilder and crazier things with him, pushing the boundaries of her experience and comfort. Meanwhile, Atacar and Catherine’s story is both tragic and sweet. So many fascinating details from the past come into play (such as the ‘language of flowers’), but they’re woven into the tale so beautifully that not a single one feels like a lesson.
The Art of Desire is a creamy liqueur that goes down smooth and heats you up you from the inside out. It’s seamlessly seductive, erotically steamy, and deeply romantic. It might not be what you expect, but it’s almost certain to be what you desire!

Sex and the City
I went to the movie today and loved it! If you’re a fan of the TV series, this movie is a gem. It was like old home week with the girls. I’ve always loved Samantha’s character, and she didn’t disappoint. Oh, and the clothes and shoes and purses…
Big and Carrie. Who doesn’t adore them together? Then there’s Smith, Samantha’s honey. I actually didn’t recognize that it was the same actor playing the part. I remember him as being beautifully boyish with the Absolut Vodka bottle between his legs. He looks less pretty boy now. More grown up, but still handsome.
Oh, and get this? I Googled him when I got home and discovered that his name is Jason Lewis and that he went to my old high school. Yep, we both went to Los Alamitos High in Los Alamitos, California. Only I was there the decade he was born. Lol.
I wish we would have been there at the same time. I would have jumped that pretty boy’s bones.

My Other Blog Has Been Unocked!
Whoohoo! Blogger unlocked my other blog. For now I'm going to keep using this one because it's linked to my websites. But I'll post the same exact posts on that one to keep things current on both blogs. Eventually I'm going to switch back to the old blog since it has all of my orignal posts. Did all of that make sense? Lol.
Btw, it wasn't the nekkid guy. He's still on my other blog. :)
Should I repost him here? Lol. Just kidding.

Adult Content
Actually it appears that adult content is allowed, as long as you have a warning on your blog. I saw it in the settings. Maybe I should put up that warning, just in case? Then I can post some nekkid butts. Lol.

My Other Blog Is Locked
My original blog has been locked for a over a week. Since I've been unable to post on it, I'm starting over with this new blog.
My other site was incorrectly cited as spam by Blogger's computer robots. Either that or they locked it because I posted a picture of a naked guy with his butt exposed. I didn't even think of that as adult content, which isn't allowed on this site.
I don't know if my other blog will be unlocked or if will be deleted. I requested a review, but as far as I know, Blogger hasn't reviewed it.
Whatever the case, no more nekkid men. Lol. I guess I should have known better. Must be the erotica writer in me.
