Back from Oregon

I had a wonderful time with Elaine and her son. Unfortunately Neil Diamond was postponed until January. I won't be able to go back in January, so no concert for me.

Still, we found plenty to do. Mostly it was nice to just sit and talk. Elaine is my sister and my best friend. We were inseparable when we were kids.

For those of you wondering how my son did in San Francisco, he found a great little studio and will be moving on the 1st.

Family Week

My sister, Blaine, came up for a visit. It's such a joy to have her around. She lives in San Diego, but she's on her way to Santa Clara to get her daughter settled into a new college dorm. And then, of course, I'll be headed to Oregon to see Elaine, one of our other sisters. And while I'm in Portland, my son will be in San Francisco, trying to secure an apartment. Getting an apartment downtown isn't easy. It's usually on a first come first serve basis, with a one-day open house and tons of people competing for the same place. There's a very low vacancy rate in SF, so apartments go fast.

It's going to be a busy week for my family.

See you when I get back!

Encoure Angel

Since I'm using this blog instead of my original one, from time to time, I'll be re-posting things from my first blog, including some of the male angels. I chose to re-post this one because he represents my next book, SUBMISSION (Feb. 2009), where you can expect lots of bondage, hot wax and paintings of fallen angels.

The Oregon Trail

On September 19th, I'll be going to Oregon to visit my sister. While I'm there, we're going to see Neil Diamond. The last time I saw Neil Diamond in concert was in 1972 at the Hot August Night show when this album was recorded.

Thumbs Down for the Geek Squad

For the past two months, I've been having computer problems. The laptop I use online is back in the shop for the third time. I finally gave up and bought a new laptop. I don't think the old one is going to be repairable. Also, I think it sucks that Best Buy refuses to credit me the money I spent on repairs when they clearly can't fix my old laptop. Instead, they keep giving it back to me, saying it's fixed when it isn't. They've been wasting my time, as well as their own.
